Privacy Policy

What we collect

IP address. Used only for rate limiting (25 roasts per minute, 100 per day). Stored in Upstash Redis with automatic expiry. Not linked to any personal profile and not shared with third parties for marketing purposes.

Plate text or photos. Sent to X.ai's Grok API to generate your roast. We do not store plate input or roast results after the response is returned. X.ai's privacy policy governs how they handle data in transit.

What we don't collect

• No user accounts or profiles
• No cookies set by this site
• No email addresses
• No persistent tracking of roast history

Third-party services

This site uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:

• X.ai — processes plate input via the Grok API
• Upstash Redis — stores IP-based rate limit counters
• Vercel — hosts the application and may log request metadata
• Google AdSense — may serve ads and set cookies based on your browsing history
• Ko-fi — voluntary tip jar; clicking links to ko-fi.com which has its own privacy policy

Advertising

This site may display ads served by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to show ads based on your prior visits to this or other sites. You can opt out at google.com/settings/ads.

Children's privacy

This site is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.
